I cant wait for football season

Spinach ham & cheese calzone (Ingredients )

1) 1 lb freshly made (dough can be store bought )

2) 2-packs of frozen (spinach can use fresh as well)

3) 1-lb of good deli ham (can use lean as well)

4) 1-lb of store bought shredded whole milk mozzarella (can use part skim as well)

5) Olive oil

6) 1-egg

7) 3-cloves of garlic (optionally)

8) Flour

9) Foil non stick for easy release

10)Rolling pin

Roll out dough until its nice and flat on a floured flat surface I like to make them oval its easier To fold up the and wrap the ingredients, tip for the bottom is to add cheese to the bottom 1st So the dough doesn’t get wet and fall apart then add your ham on top of the cheese keeping The ingredients in the middle of the zone.

Then add your cooked and drained spinach to the Top of the ham (tip for spinach is to put in a clean dish towel and squeeze until all water is Drained out, this will keep from making the Calzone all soggy when cooking) then if your using Chopped garlic add to the top of the Spinach And spread evenly next add more mozzarella to The top of that.

(Tip make sure you have plenty of flour down so you can move onto the nonstick foil when Ready to bake) now you can fold the top of the dough over and adjust the dough so it covers The zone completely once that’s done take a fork and pinch the edges so there crimped and This will hold together nicely.

Next take and egg and beat it ,and brush the top of the dough Until the top is covered Completely, then carefully move to the non stick foil and preheat oven To 350 degrees and Place in the middle of the oven and cook for about 30 to 35 minutes until Golden brown on the Top and take out and cool for 10 to 12 minutes and slice into desired Portions and enjoy.

COST IS ABOUT 8.00 DOLLARS
