MY FAVORITE 70'S SITCOM'S

I watched this sitcom about 33 years ago, This was a great sitcom,who knew that a struggling family living in the south side of Chicago projects was going to turn out to be such a big hit, we hardly ever missed a show, who was the show ,well basically I think it was J.J. he was the funniest person on the show ,when they came up with the saying "DY-NO_MITE!" from That skinny funny J.J. that sold a lot of T-shirts back in the day, I know because I had one and saw them everywhere.

Looking back at this show there were a few episodes that were controversial and not always politically correct ,this show was Blunt about religion,race,politics class, and sexual standards.

And yet they were able to make us laugh once a week for so many years, my favorite good times episodes ,was the one about the dog food, when the whole family avoids eating the next door neighbor's meatloaf, because they think its made with dog food, this episode was so hilarious.

I still laugh today about this episode, when I think about it, but when you take a few good people like FLORIDA and JAMES EVENS , two struggling adults tyring to raise there family in a poverty stricken Chicago projects,and mix in a Thelma that's nuts about boys , a son Michael that's a black activist, Willona the gossip of the whole building , this was a great combination for making millions of people laugh every week , I am sure this sitcom helped so many struggling real people and eased there mind just a little ,about how hard it really was back then , when you were struggling in real life, to feed and support your family, this show was a classic SITCOM ,and I will never forget this show, Thank you for all the great memories

GOING TO MY NEXT FAVORITE CLASSIC SITCOM

Another favorite sitcom of mine was Sanford and son ,this sitcom became number 2 in the Network ratings behind the all in the family, oh that famous saying from FRED I'm comin Elizabeth, (as he is grabbing his chest saying this is the big one) could be heard from south Central were Fred and Lamont Sanford lived, while running a junk yard business, from there Home,this show offered all kind of funny moments one is how Fred always called Lamont (DUMMY).

Fred use to drink this stuff called Ripple it was a cheap wine produced in the 70's it was around 2.00 dollars a bottle back then, I believe that stop making it in the 80's

And When adding aunt Esther to the mix ,she was a great addition to the sitcom, Fred would call so Some many funny things, one time he told Lamont to get a can of raid and kill this fungus before it Multiplies, she would then turn to him and say shut up you heathen, and not to sure what heathen was, but it sure Was funny, and made me laugh every time , also there was Grady Fred's best friend, and Along came bubba and cant forget the neighbor Julio who Fred always accuse of sealing Things from his house.

My favorite episode was, when they found marijuana in there garden, and didn't know what to Do with it ,and Lamont ask Raoul, his opinion on what to due with it, and he replies, let hide it In little papers and burn it, to get rid of it. but Lamont wants to turn into the police then Raoul Says your crazy fool, they will arrest us, This show was the optimality of classic comedy and has always Remained A favorite sitcom of mine, it still airs today on T.V. land with other classic 70's Shows ,what memoirs we had back then ,in the good old days.
