A GREAT GARLIC GREEN BEAN SIDE DISH

A great garlic green bean side dish

Ingredients’

2-Lbs of fresh Green beans

2-Cloves of fresh garlic

¼ cup of olive Oil

Salt

Pepper

1½ cups of cooked white Rice

¼ stick of butter

First take all the ends of the green beans and put into A boiling pot of water, then add your Salt to the Boiling pot, cook Green beans for about 6 to 8 Minutes, you want your Beans to Be a little soft.

Then drain beans into a cold Bowl of ice water, this Will keep them from cooking Any further, Then chop Up your garlic until finely Chopped, then heat a Fryer pan with your ¼ cup of Olive Oil,on a low heat.

TIP (make sure your beans are totally dry before Adding to the hot oil this could splash up at You, hot Oil and water don’t mix very well) then add your Drained cold Beans to the pan with Your butter and Season with Salt and pepper and let beans cook for About 3 to 4 more Minutes.

Then you can add your Garlic to the fryer pan (tip if you cook your garlic in The beginning, it Will burn, and ruin your side dish, That’s why you add it at the end) and Cook for about Another 4 to 6 minutes until the beans Have a light Brown color to them.

And taste the beans Before you Stop the cooking process, to be sure there Fully Cooked They way you want them, and then pure your Beans over the Cooked rice and serve, should Be a Big hit and it’s a Good way of getting the kids, to eat Healthy foods. Enjoy

I stumbled upon your recipe quite by accident, and I can tell you my mother would love it. I make a dish similar to yours, but cook the beans only until barely tender, which my mother does not like...she prefers them very well done. I'll make sure she gets a copy of this.
